This course is designed for those interested in working with diverse populations in a physical activity setting. Students will learn how to provide optimal programming for all individuals—regardless of capability—including planning and implementing appropriate activities for individuals of varying abilities. Students will be required to provide personalized physical activity for one or more differently abled peers for both individual and group participation during class time. Instruction will include learning how to connect modifications directly to participants while providing optimal challenge and success to support physically active lifestyles. |
