This class includes the necessary; skills, techniques and content to successfully participate in the movements of Tai Chi. |
Learning Goals: |
Students will be able to perform a series of slow controlled motions designed to maximize health and teach martial art technique.Students will understand the historical perspective of Tai Chi Chuan.Students will understand the need for health and physical education.Students will be introduced to the role of teaching by example in regard to confronting societal issues, (youth, gender, diversity, disabilities.) *The learning goals displayed here are those for one section of this course as offered in a recent semester, and are provided for the purpose of information only.
