This course will examine the historical legacy of social movements, their political and legal implications, and their overall social consequences on a global scale. Several factors are considered including the examination of politicized spaces (universities, coffeehouses), social media (Twitter, Facebook) and discussions regarding the evolution of rights to assembly and speech.Sections Offered: Fall 2024 |
