This course explores the role of marketing in the global marketplace. Exploring a consumer perspective, the course exposes the student to the philosophies, concepts, and skills needed to manage the marketing function. Topics include an examination of the structure of the marketing process, including opportunity analysis, relationship marketing and consumer orientation, segmentation and the development of marketing strategies and the marketing mix, including E commerce with a focus on the use of information management to develop marketing strategies and tactics.Sections Offered: Spring 2026 |
