Course Search


Courses may be offered in one of the following modalities:

  • Traditional in-person courses (0–29 percent of coursework is delivered online, the majority being offered in person.)
  • Hybrid/blended courses (30–79 percent of coursework is delivered online.)
  • Online courses (100 percent of coursework is delivered online, either synchronously on a designated day and time or asynchronously as a deadline-driven course.)
  • Hyflex (Students will be assigned to attend in-person or live streamed sessions as a reduced-size cohort on a rotating basis; live sessions are also recorded, offering students the option to participate synchronously or view asynchronously as needed.)

If you are enrolled in courses delivered in traditional or hybrid modalities, you will be expected to attend face-to-face instruction as scheduled.


SPY 622: Statistics For School Psychologist

3 credits

Students will be given a basic introduction to computer analysis. Students will be expected to learn to analyze data using SPSS. Throughout the courses students will be instructed on how to write up the results of statistical analyses using A.P.A. format.

Learning Goals

For students to:• understand the logic of experimental design• develop a conceptual understanding of multivariate statistics• be able to comprehend statistical procedures used in psychological and educational researchFor students to learn:• the mathematical operations necessary to analyze data• how to decide upon the appropriate statistical technique for different experimental designs • how to use statistics to describe data • how to use statistics to formulate and test hypotheses• how to use EXCEL to graph data• how to use SPSS to analyze data• how to report findings in APA format
