Computer Graphic Application 2 is an advanced level course in digital design, which focuses on Adobe’s Creative Suite techniques and technology along with creative processes and page layout skills to facilitate and foster industry standard portfolio pieces. |
Learning Goals: |
COURSE LEARNING GOALS:Students will learn proficiency in Adobe InDesign CS5, the industry standard for page layout, Adobe Photoshop CS5 for photo editing/manipulation and Adobe Illustrator CS5 for vector art.Students will understand the connections between type & image.Students will understand how grid strategy facilitates the organization of a page layout.Students will learn the stages of pre-press production.Students will understand the importance of research & history in relationship to creative process. *The learning goals displayed here are those for one section of this course as offered in a recent semester, and are provided for the purpose of information only.
