Course Objectives:1. Understand and be able to express the principles of organic evolution, and appreciate the social and scientific implications, via proactive (e.g. participatory) learning.2. Understand the interrelationships with other fields of biology and appreciate the foundational position of evolution in the fields of biology [e.g. the impact of evolutionary principles on: cell biology, molecular biology, development, Mendelian genetics and population genetics, behavior, and ecology]. *The learning goals displayed here are those for one section of this course as offered in a recent semester, and are provided for the purpose of information only.
