In this four credit lecture-lab course, students will have the opportunity to build their own interactive literature. Students will explore examples of multi-genre creative writing, and workshop their own work, while developing the technological skills to create a body of digital, interactive works. Learning Goals: |
Students will be able to: recognize elements of craft in creative works, and apply these elements of craft to their own creative world, appraise creative work and provide constructive feedback, classify and apply basic javascript commands, navigate and produce content on Twine, which uses Javascript and CSS, debug issues in their code, assess their own work, and the work of their peers, critically based on the works' aesthetics and pragmatic use of coding, develop the necessary writing and reading skills for successfully communicating in different online media forms. *The learning goals displayed here are those for one section of this course as offered in a recent semester, and are provided for the purpose of information only.
