Students review Italian grammar systematically, from rudimentary to more advanced concepts of usage and idiomatic expressions, in order to increase their competence in written and oral Italian. |
Learning Goals: |
1. To review the main points of Italian grammar 2. To help students develop their style in written Italian: generating and organizing ideas through brainstorming, discussion with classmates; study of model texts; prewriting; editing and revising. 3. To develop the vocabulary, grammar structures, etc., necessary to describe a person, to write a letter, to tell a story, to explain a concept, and to express an opinion. *The learning goals displayed here are those for one section of this course as offered in a recent semester, and are provided for the purpose of information only.
