Description: |
After completing this course, students will be able to write, read and debug computer programs. Students will blend programming methods and techniques that are grounded in solid software engineering principles to learn more about object-oriented concepts, design of algorithms, and various data structures like lists, trees, and graphs. |
Learning Goals: |
Students will be able to:O1: analyze problems and design more complex software solutions to problemsO2: apply object-oriented principles to write software involving several classes that interact togetherO3: explain, use, and analyze lists, dictionaries, stacks, queues, trees, and graphsO4: plan and design algorithms for problems using data structuresO5: analyze the efficiency of algorithms and determine whether there is a more efficient way of solving a problem or class of problems *The learning goals displayed here are those for one section of this course as offered in a recent semester, and are provided for the purpose of information only. The exact learning goals for each course section in a specific semester will be stated on the syllabus distributed at the start of the semester, and may differ in wording and emphasis from those shown here. |
