Students will study fundamental texts in Latin American philosophy, past and present. Latin American philosophy has emerged from the encounter of European and non-Western cultures on topics from metaphysics to aesthetics. Students will learn to assess and develop arguments about philosophical questions in a cross-cultural framework. |
