In the fourth of four required voice courses, projection and support technique from the first year, and second-year diction training, combine for advanced work on the well-supported use of a properly placed and malleable voice, with continuing work on any personal diction issues. 0192-280: DICTION PROJECTION-WORKING WITH THE ACCENTLESS VOICEStudents will:1) continue the work done in 0192-180, with an emphasis on developing stage diction and projection;2) explore the oral placement and production of each consonant and vowel;3) explore their vocal range of pitch;4) perfect their capacity to speak Standard or General American English;5) develop capacity for diaphragmatic breathing;6) practice adapting vocal production to the needs of theatrical characterization. *The learning goals displayed here are those for one section of this course as offered in a recent semester, and are provided for the purpose of information only.
