Passing the Comprehensive Exam is required for students to receive their Master of Arts in General Psychology, unless they have elected to complete the Master’s Thesis Research Study. The exam consists of four sections with questions that assess a student's knowledge in four core areas-Developmental Psychology, Research Methods, Psychopathology and Contemporary Views of Psychoanalytic Theory or Consciousness and Cognition. |
