This course will review the main ideas in D. Winnicott’s work and will explore his contribution to current conceptualizations and practices in the field of child and adult psychotherapy. His concepts of facilitating and holding environment, potential space, transitional experience, playing and creativity have transformed our understanding of the role of a psychotherapist as well as what transpires in the room. |
