Description: |
The student will synthesize and apply knowledge acquired throughout his or her graduate study. The student will identify a topic of interest related to the specialty area and complete an evidence-based project that identifies a problem, reviews the relevant literature and details an action plan for addressing the identified problem. |
Learning Goals: |
1. To familiarize the student with the process of developing evidence-based research,from project conceptualization to presentation of results.2. To provide the student with an opportunity to employ skills, abilities and knowledgegained through coursework in a real-world setting.3. To afford the student an opportunity for cross-disciplinary collaboration inaccomplishing a structured Emergency Management objective.4. To offer the student an opportunity to provide leadership in identifying and addressinga problem within their discipline.5.
