Students have an opportunity to choose from a variety of activity courses designed to introduce them to a new sport or lifetime skills. The activities carry 1 credit for semester's work and 2 credits for the full semester. |
Learning Goals: |
OBJECTIVES:Students will be able to:1. Obtain a higher awareness for the different fitness activities that improve aerobic capacity, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, and body composition2. Apply different body movements to various physical activities (i.e. sports)3. Demonstrate a knowledge about healthy nutrition and food habits4. Incorporate various equipment with specific physical activities5.
