This course provides knowledge of typical language development in all language domains:Phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. Aspects of language development in children with communicative disorders as it relates to theoretical approaches to language acquisition are discussed. Bilingual language development is presented to exemplify language, learning, and literacy connections. |
