Learning Goals: |
PERFORMANCE OUTCOMESUpon completion of this course students will demonstrate;1. An understanding of ethical practices in research (ASHA- III-E). This will be assessed by the completion of an online course in research ethics and certificate of completion.2. Ability to critically evaluate the research literature in a specific areas within the discipline of speech-language pathology, speech science and/or audiology. (ASHA- III-F) Assessed by student written and oral reports.3. To review pertinent practice literature in a given area of interest (ASHA-III-F). Assessed by written and oral reports.4. To develop a design for a research project which will add to the evidence based practice in that area. (ASHA- III-B, D, F).
