PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES – based on the 6 goals of the Conceptual FrameworkThe student will:1. Have an understanding of issues directly related to the practice of conducting a speech-language program in a school setting (ASHA-III-D) (Assessed by university supervisor observation and final evaluation by cooperating slp)2. Complete 150 hours of supervised clinical practice in a school setting under the direct supervision of a certified TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech Language Disabilities) who also holds the ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) (ASHA-IV-F, IV-G3) (Assessed by submission of signed log)3. Demonstrate the ability to develop lesson plans (reflecting evidence based practice) appropriate for the school setting. (ASHA-IV-G2) (Assessed by university supervisor observation and final evaluation by cooperating slp)4.
